About Dallas County Court Docket

Dallas County dockets and case records are divided among the District Clerk, County Clerk, individual Justice of the Peace courts, municipal courts, and federal clerks. The online Courts Portal brings several county categories together, but it does not erase those custody lines. This privately run reference site organizes the official search links, clerk routes, calendar sources, and request choices so readers can start with the court that actually holds the record.

Why We Built This Site

Finding a Dallas County docket is often a routing task. The District Clerk keeps district civil, family, and felony criminal files. The County Clerk keeps county misdemeanor, county civil, probate, and related records. Ten Justice of the Peace places and the municipal courts maintain their own case systems. Federal matters use PACER and federal clerk procedures.

The goal is to make those boundaries plain before a reader searches, travels, or pays for a copy. Official portal fields, office contacts, court-calendar pages, documented fees, and access limits are presented in practical terms. Dallas County remains the source of the record, and the responsible court or clerk controls each current docket and official copy.

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately operated reference site with no affiliation to a Texas court, Dallas County office, clerk, or government agency. Its role is limited.

  • We cannot retrieve an official docket sheet or case file for a reader
  • We cannot alter, cancel, continue, or reset any court setting
  • We cannot seal, remove, correct, or amend a court record
  • We cannot issue a certified or exemplified copy
  • We cannot provide legal advice about a case
  • We cannot promise that an operational fee, contact, or setting has not changed

An official or certified Dallas County court record must come from the District Clerk, County Clerk, municipal clerk, JP court, or other court that maintains it.

Search Partners

Some content pages contain search tools supplied by outside providers. Those providers operate their own services and set any prices. If use of a tool results in a paid signup, this site may receive a referral fee that supports free public access to the reference material. We do not set the provider's charges or control its search results. Official case facts should always be checked with the originating Dallas County court or clerk.
