This page routes questions about official Dallas County court dockets and case records. Dallas County splits custody between the District Clerk and County Clerk, while municipal and Justice of the Peace courts keep their own files. Most requests must go to the office that heard or maintains the case. This private reference site cannot access a private file, change a setting, certify a copy, or act for a court.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. We operate a private reference site. We cannot retrieve dockets, reset dates, seal or remove cases, issue certified copies, or provide legal advice. Contact the responsible clerk or trial court for those services.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

Route the request by court and case type. Use the Dallas County case search for an index, the court calendar for a setting, and the responsible clerk for the official document.
